Enjoy the last of Edmonton’s summer months
Recently, I had a tour of the Alberta Legislature which was free for anyone to take. I have visited the area going on walks often taking pictures which I posted on Facebook and Instagram. Most likely I will never have that popular of Facebook or Instagram accounts but it is for personal reasons I use the two platforms. Sometimes I go on Pinterest which is mostly because of my interest in cooking. Enjoy the last of Edmonton’s summer months! https://www.thecurrentevent.ca/edmonton-photo-gallery/
The Ledge which is a nickname of the building in the area looks almost fort like because it was part of Fort Edmonton I believe or something like that. It is on First Nations land which means Cree may get a little money for the rental properties which will most likely stand for hundreds of years more.
Sometime soon I intend on going to the movie night there to see what it is really happening. I would like to visit the Alberta Art gallery downtown by Churchill Square soon as well. There is the TELUS world of science and more than one museum with one to open this fall I believe. Edmonton has many attractions which can include the Oilers and Rogers Place. The Eskimos have a very loyal strong following in the Capital city.
Maybe one more thing to do could go more onto the Whyte Ave area for shopping. I have been to the markets there and dropped by to visit a pub for a few hours. Edmonton has many things to do year round especially for those on a budget considering our low-income bus passes and leisure passes.
There are bike trails which work walking as well here. Race-walking is something with a following including me when I have time. There is a club for that which is more competitive than I am but maybe someday! My most popular blog post
Not much to write right now so take care! Enjoy the last of the summer months!
